Calvin's Work in Parliament & the Constituency

Campaigns & Local Priorities
Whipps Cross Hospital
Whipps Cross Hospital urgently needs an upgrade. Redevelopment will create a state-of-the-art facility, support NHS staff, provide new homes, generate jobs, and improve care for our community.
Anti-social Behaviour & Crime
Persistent antisocial behaviour and criminality profoundly impact our community. We must tackle these issues, support residents facing intimidation, and work together to create safer streets for all.
Public Transport Accessibility
A lack of step-free access and changes to local bus services (the W12, W13, and W14 routes) affect families’ and vulnerable residents' access to key services like Whipps Cross Hospital and public transport in the area.

National Issues
Empowering Young People
Education lays the groundwork for future success, and access to the arts, sports, and volunteering is crucial. I want everyone in our area to have access to these opportunities.
Supporting Veterans
We have around 4,000 veterans in our community in need of support to flourish in civilian life. Improving access to healthcare, housing, and employment is essential.
Housing
London’s housing crisis—driven by a shortage of affordable homes and insecure renting—hurts families and council budgets. Supporting leaseholders and strengthening renters’ rights are essential for safe, affordable housing.
