GMB London Black History Month Reception

I was proud to support GMB London Region’s Black History Month reception in Parliament and launch their new race activist toolkit. It was great to catch up with so many wonderful friends fighting for equality in their workplaces!

Work continues in Government on the Equality (Race and Disability) Bill that is set to introduce mandatory pay gap reporting for large employers. In the meantime, our unions continue to play an essential role in helping workers stand up against discrimination, and events like this are invaluable in inspiring union reps to continue this work.
