Leytonstone Regeneration Tour

I had a fantastic time on Friday joining the Waltham Forest council for a Regeneration Tour in Leytonstone, visiting key sites where infrastructure needs to be updated or adapted to better serve the local community. We explored several areas in need of improvement including:

1️⃣ Tesco, McDonald’s, Welsh Church, and Former City Blinds

2️⃣ Aldi & M&S

3️⃣ Church Lane car park & Leytonstone station

4️⃣ Joseph Ray Road

5️⃣ Leytonstone High Road & the railway arches

This was a great opportunity to see firsthand areas where infrastructure improvements are needed and we’re looking forward to these projects which promise to create a better environment for everyone. Stay tuned for exciting updates on the progress ahead!
