Meeting with Policing Minister

I had a very valuable meeting with Policing Minister Dame Diana Johnson MP, during which we discussed the issues raised by Leyton and Wanstead constituents in my postbag, surgeries, and walkabouts. This was also important to follow up after meetings with our local police leaders.

I asked for support on issues such as cuckooing, which blights some of our communities, and shortages of resources for our neighbourhood police teams, which are having a real impact on areas being highly affected by antisocial behaviour, shop thefts, robberies and more.
