My response to the Government's SEND consultation

I've submitted my response to the Government's SEND consultation, drawing on months of engagement with families and professionals across Leyton and Wanstead - including roundtables, a parents' coffee morning and a constituency-wide survey. 

There is real support for these reforms, but also real concern. Families are exhausted by a system that has let them down, and they are being asked to trust a redesigned one. That trust has to be earned through consistent delivery, proper resourcing, and genuine accountability. 👇
