Meeting with the Police Federation

It was important to meet with the Police Federation of England and Wales team to discuss the challenges facing officers - particularly around recruitment, retention, and mental health. We also spoke about the loss of police housing, which once helped officers live in and serve the communities they protected.

Policing is a demanding job, and it’s vital we do more to support officers’ wellbeing and family life while ensuring they have the resources and protections they need.
