As we move into April, I'm looking back on a packed March. From meeting local charities to school visits, here’s a small snapshot of what I’ve been up to: 👇
▪️Joined the PL84U Food Bank in Leytonstone 🍽
▪️Met with the Jewish Lads and Girls brigade in South Woodford
▪️Secured a Westminster Hall Debate on London Local government funding 🏛
▪️Attended the Defence Committee visit to Strategic Command Northwood
▪️Visited the Gwyn Jones Primary School 📚
▪️Raised concerns from Coronation square residence to their leaseholder Rendal and Rittner
▪️Visited Wanstead Place Surgery to discuss supporting local GPs 🩺
▪️Met Leyton Sixth Form College in Westminster
▪️Held an introductory meeting with Women’s Institute in Leytonstone 🤝
▪️Had Introductory meetings with Trade Envoy Countries: DRC, Angola, Zambia, Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana
▪️Meeting with the Police Borough Commander on ASB in the Wanstead Area
▪️Hosted Constituency Surgeries in Leytonstone 👥
▪️Met with Karyn Smith to discuss Whipps Cross Hospital
▪️Visited the Farnborough Space Show and met aspiring STEM apprentices 🔭
▪️Chaired a London Young Labour Event on BAME Voices with Dawn Butler
▪️Started our new Monthly Wash-up with Ward Councillors
▪️Visited Christ Church in Wanstead ⛪
▪️Contributed to DBT Committee Session on Defence Industrial Strategy
▪️Meet with Wanstead High School governance team on crimes affecting students 🎒
▪️Promoted Man in the Van Mobile Testing Centre for Prostate Cancer PSA Tests
▪️Attended Labour African Network Meeting with the Japanese Embassy
▪️Received a Violence Against Women and Girls Briefing with Met Police Deputy Assistant Commissioner, Ben Russell 🚨
▪️Took part in the Big Iftar with colleagues and constituents
▪️Participated in Works of Art Committee 🎨
