It was a full November! Here’s some of what I was up to last month:
· Collaborated with Waltham Forest council on regeneration and social housing.
· Discussed the Assisted Dying Bill with constituents.
· Visited Wanstead High School.
· Advocated for increased Police patrols around schools to combat muggings.
· Took the Minister for Policing on a tour of Leyton to address anti-social behaviour.
· Held meetings with councillors and police on anti-social behaviour and drug-related crime.
· Launched the APPG for the Armed Forces Community.
· Spoke about early diagnosis for Prostate Cancer on International Men’s Day.
· Attended five local Remembrance events.
· Marked Armistice Day at Snaresbrook Memorial.
· Engaged with TfL and the GLA regarding W12 and W14 bus routes.
· Co-chaired the BAME PLP for the first time.
· Participated in two constituent lobbies on Palestine.
· Celebrated Diwali at several constituency events, including a standout one by the Punjabi Os.
· Published an article on strengthening UK-Africa relations.
· Met with Minister for Skills to discuss T-Levels and FE colleges.
· Celebrated Zambia’s Independence Day at the High Commission.
