Parliamentary intervention on Israel

In recent weeks we have all witnessed deeply worrying developments: continued bombardment of Lebanon, accelerating settlement expansion in the West Bank, and sanctioned Israeli minister Ben-Gvir parading his cruelty through the appalling treatment of those on the Global Sumud Flotilla.
At the same time, humanitarian aid to Gaza continues to be blocked, and all of this reflects Isreal’s serious disregard for international norms and disinterest in peace. I did not have the opportunity to say everything I wanted due to parliamentary time limits but I asked the Minister what more the Government will do with partners in the Middle East to pressure the government of Israel to change course and help restore peace in the region.
