Supporting the comic & graphic novel sector

I recently had the pleasure of hosting Mark Fuller from Comic Book UK in Parliament to talk about the vibrant UK comics scene - a sector booming with a projected growth of around 8.6% annually over the next few years!

Like a lot of little boys, comics were a big part of my childhood. From iconic characters like Dennis the Menace and Judge Dredd, we have a lot to be proud of in the UK.

Comic Book UK champions comic and graphic novel creators, helping smaller publishers grow, including local gems like Avery Hill, based in our community.

As AI and technology evolve, we must protect our artists and creators. I hope we can keep the UK at the forefront of this global industry while preserving the culture and diversity that make British comics so unique.
