Whipps Cross Hospital Tour with the A&E team

I recently visited Whipps Cross Hospital to see first-hand the improvements being made to A&E, supported by more than £21 million of investment this year.

It was a pleasure to tour the department with Dr Amanjit Jhund and Alastair Finney, and to hear from Dr Kausikh Nandi about how the changes will better support children and families.

I was especially pleased to see the end of corridor care and the progress towards faster, safer services - including a new Paediatric Clinical Decision Unit set to open next year.

These improvements will make a real and lasting difference for our community. Thanks to everyone at Barts Health NHS Trust!
