Joint Letter: Thames Water's stewardship of the River Roding

Following a recent roundtable with Thames Water, I joined neighbouring MPs in writing to the company to set out our serious concerns about its stewardship of the River Roding and the value it delivers to customers.

My previous parliamentary question raised concerns about unpermitted sewage outfalls into the river and E. coli levels. This pollution, alongside a 31% rise in customer bills, raises ongoing questions about the company’s performance. Thames Water must be held accountable and take urgent action to end this pollution.
