Meeting the makers behind London's zero-emission buses

This week’s news that estimated annual deaths linked to air pollution in London have fallen by around 40% between 2019 and 2024 is a positive sign that London’s zero-emissions aims are working.

TfL is supporting the electrification of the Leyton bus depot, helping drive zero-emission buses, cut emissions and improve air quality across East London. It was good to meet industry representatives working to electrify our buses at the APPG for British Buses event recently.
