As the festive season is here, I'm reflecting on a busy December, here are some of the things I've done this month. 👇
▪️Spoke with Johnston court residents about leaseholds and the issues of cladding 🏘️
▪️Spoke to Redbridge council about the pollution of the River Roding.
▪️Engaged with local police and councils on Anti-Social Behaviour reporting 🚨
▪️Gave an assembly at Davis Lane Primary school
▪️Visited Connaught school for girls
▪️Met with the Minister of Sport on women's access to pitches locally and Leyton Orient FC ⚽️
▪️Visit to Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) at MOD Bristol with Defence Committee
▪️Advocated for FE Colleges, inc. Leyton 6th Form in the education debate💬
▪️Chaired the Prostate Cancer All Party Parliamentary Group first meeting
▪️Met with the Ambassador of Morocco 🇲🇦
▪️Met with Gaza Families reunited
▪️Held a Q&A session with Leyton 6th Form college students in Parliament 👩🎓
▪️Raised concerns about Syria and the impact of recent developments
▪️Had a high-level meeting on the humanitarian situation in Palestine
▪️Hosted the Labour Africa Network Christmas reception with three ministers. 🌍
▪️Met with Rabbi Mason on refugees and asylum seekers in the UK
