From litter picks in Wanstead to meetings in Parliament and beyond, it’s been another busy month. As we move into May, I wanted to share a snapshot of what I’ve been up to over the past few weeks. 👇

🏘️ Organised a meeting with L&Q for residents to share their feedback and concerns.

🗣 Hosted constituency surgeries, ensuring consistent engagement.

🏃🏼Ran the London Marathon for Samaritans

🎖️ Marked the Month of the Military Child with Never Such Innocence.

🧹 Took part in a litter pick in Wanstead Village with councillors.

🌍 Met up with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office on developments in the DRC.

🎉 Attended a No.10 reception to celebrate Vaisakhi.

🤝 Met with the South Africa Chamber of Commerce in my capacity as Trade Envoy to Southern Africa.

⚽ Attended the Leyton Orient match against Rotherham.

🍁 Met with the Canadian High Commissioner on international trade.

✡️ Met with Leyton and Wanstead Synagogue

🪖 Participated in a Defence Select Committee oral evidence session on Women in the Armed Forces.

🌐 Met with the ONE Campaign.

🎙️ Appeared on Times Radio.

💷 Met with the Treasury to discuss the Defence Industrial Strategy.

✈️ Met with JET to hear about their work supporting young people into the air and space industry.

📝 Presented a prostate cancer screening application to the Backbench Business Committee.

🌍 Attended the Global Partnerships Conference on International Development and Africa.

🛡️ Sat on the National Growth Debate Panel discussing national resilience and cyber security.

📻 Gave an interview to Andrew Marr on LBC.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Celebrated St George's Day at the Northcote Arms.

🏢 Hosted a professional services event in Parliament.

🏘️ Met with Labour Councillor Caramel Quinn to talk renters’ rights.

🎧 Spoke with John Pienaar on his broadcast.

🏠 Visited an Afghan resettlement site with the Defence Select Committee.

👥 Attended an ethnic minorities network executives meeting.
