After visiting Build Academy in Wanstead last week and meeting learners preparing for careers in construction, I took the opportunity to raise their work in Parliament.
Accessible, industry-led training like this is exactly what we need to close skills gaps, support young people into jobs and apprenticeships, and ensure we have the workforce to build, maintain and improve homes and infrastructure.
