Supporting leaseholders in Wanstead

This week I visited Buxton Lodge, Hood Lodge, and Lister Lodge in Wanstead with leaseholders and representatives from Newham London to discuss concerns around proposed major works and associated costs.

It was a valuable opportunity to walk the site, hear directly from residents, and begin a constructive dialogue with the council about how we move forward fairly and transparently.

I want to thank Newham Council for engaging openly and for their commitment to continuing these conversations. I’ll keep working closely with all parties to make sure residents’ voices are heard and their concerns addressed.
